Bright Line Eating was a lifesaver. I am a 69-year-old woman and have dieted on and off since I was 18. I would lose weight and always gain it back, and I’ve never maintained a weight in my entire life. Once I read Susan’s book, I was totally jazzed. I felt for the first time in my life that I might actually have a chance. I started out at 222 pounds, and I’m now in maintenance at 140 pounds*. I’ve been in maintenance for two months for the first time in my life. I had been diagnosed with diabetes, and I no longer have that diagnosis—it’s totally gone. I no longer take blood-pressure medication. I feel like this is really easy and I’m going to be able to do it for the rest of my life, and I never felt that about any other diet.
