About the Authorship of This Book
It takes a whole team of people to produce a book, including the author, agent, publisher, editor, designer, consultants, copyeditors, readers, PR and marketing teams. Typically, their contributions are highlighted in the acknowledgments section of the book.
Thatās how it usually goes.
But on the very publication day of ON THIS BRIGHT DAY, in an intimate setting where the creation of the book was being discussed, Dr. Susan Peirce Thompson came to a realization about the magnitude and importance of the contributions of one key team member. In retrospect, she wished she'd had the foresight to include her, not in the acknowledgments, but as a full co-author of the book.
While the publishing team explores the possibility of changing the named authors on future printings of the book, we've designed a new cover and title page that recognizes the contributions of JoAnn Campbell-Rice, Ph.D., an exceptional writer and subject-matter expert, as co-author of ON THIS BRIGHT DAY.
If you'd like to honor JoAnn's contributions as co-author in your own copy, you can print and affix this title page into your book over top of the existing one. Susan has done so and many members of our Bright Line Eating community have done so as well. Thank you for your brilliant contributions, JoAnn!
