QuaranTips

A couple weeks ago, we asked our Bright Lifers to share what they’re doing to stay sane and grounded during this time of uncertainty and upheaval. We received so many wonderful responses that we couldn’t possibly fit them all into one vlog, so our team selected a diverse array of suggestions for you to watch. Hope you enjoy!

Susan, do this again — I love it!

I love it! Thank you so much for putting that together for us. I really resonated with the video about eating only what we need to survive to allow others to have enough food, especially since the grocery stores have bare shelves. When stressed and/or bored I can put away obscene amounts of food which would have resulted in eating all of my families food by now. We stocked up before our state instituted our shelter in place order and HAD I fell off the wagon in the beginning I would have eaten all of it by now. But by keeping my lines bright I have managed to keep my family fed for over a month now and kept my sanity as well. My lines have been very bright which is a surprise to me because being trapped in a house with so much NMF would have normally pushed me over the edge by day 4 LOL but now at day 33 my lines are still super bright. One of the things I do attribute to this success is using the coloring page that you can download on the BLE website. For each bright day you have, you color in a section of the BLE logo. It’s strange but I don’t want to miss a day or mess up the picture so that is really keeping me accountable. Thank you Dr Susan and BLE for all you do!

What a really great weekly VLOG. Thank you! I have been able to maintain MY sanity by acknowledging that the only thing I have control over is myself. And to that end, strictly following my food plan not only helps my health goals it also reinforces the control that I have during this very uncertain time.
