I would so like to go with Bright Line Eating but I have no support and I’ve had trouble staying with diets because I have no one to support me. Also I can’t afford something expensive….just ranting!!

Have you thought of doing the 14 day challenge to get yourself started? Also, there non-BLE sanctioned Facebook groups out there.

      Reply ·
    2. Deborah Neher

Cecile Tose, you can absolutely do BLE for free to get started. I got Susan’s book from the library (eventually bought my own copy, but there’s no hurry for that if you just want to get started for free.) The susceptibility test is online for free and many of Susan’s vlogs are freely available online on YouTube. That doesn’t fulfill the support you mention, but I get a lot of support just from Susan’s vlogs. I hope you will grab the opportunity to try this out for yourself because you want it. You can have it, you can do it!

I started with the vlogs. For months. There was no book. Then I did the 14 day challenge, and got the book as part of it – and lost a chunk of weight. And then the price of the Boot Camp came down and I jumped at it and am never looking back. Get the book, take it out of the library and start this week….

This vlog really touched me. It is the first time I listened to one. I am overweight & have failed to buy )new clothes since retirering 6 years ago, instead complaining that I have nothing to wear. What really touched me was when you spoke of, “the freedom to engage in life”. That is at the heart of my problem, not engaging in life. I am disabled (balance problem) & have chronic disease & find it easier to not engage except minimally. Thank you for opening my eyes &, though it feels hard to do, I want to start engaging in life again.

The secret? Follow the BLE program. It is an entire way of life not
just a diet. Find a program you can follow – 14 days or Boot Camp –
you will be given all the tools plus the food plan plus most important
an entire loving, caring, supportive community.

This is so beautiful. Very Motivational on my part. There is one thing lately that I have been saying to myself that seems to work for me as I try to lose some weight. IS – “I CHOSE NOT TO” …………… . eat junk food, drink to much, over eat, etc.., etc. Just fill in the blank. What ever your story is. I hope this helps some people.

Unfortunately there could never be enough typing space for me to say how much this Vlog meant to me. But you were talking about me and thousands and thousands of others who sit on a shelf waiting, just waiting for A life because they are so afraid to step into life as an overweight or obese person. I was and have been obese for well over 75% of my life. Right now I am down 111.5 pounds and have about 45 to go so yes when I said obese I meant it. But I wanted to share with Susan and all that I have found the love of my life at 60 years of age. The reason that this happened was because I found me, a beautiful from the inside out (now) woman who is confident that my body, my knees and my hips could keep up with another person but mostly I had to find a way to love myself before I could even attempt to love someone else and BLE helped me to find my way to where I am now but I found the courage to step INTO life for the first time and with that came this amazing man who I cherish and even better he cherishes me. There is nothing easy about stepping into life after almost 60 years of avoiding it but for anyone who takes the time to read this. IT IS REALLY, REALLY worth it :-). Much Love Susan, thank you.

Susan, greatinspiring stories. You are right, I put off so many things because my mindset is WHEN I LOSE. WEIGHT I’LL DO ……..
I recently read Dr Jason Fung’s book, The Obeisity Code, about the effects of insulin, and insulin resistance. The explanation of insulin resistance so helped me understand why I’ve gained so much weight, and he discusses so much more, about the science of weight gain/loss, I highly recommend it. Your book started me on this journey, his helped me understand the why’s. Now I’m even more committed to BLE! No more struggling, lifestyle change is the answer. Thank you for your inspiring blogs.

Thank you Beautiful Lady Susan, for your stories and words of encouragement. I am waiting to have VGS surgery, but I know that having the surgery wont be the answer. I am addicted to food due to physical, verbal and mental abuse at the hands of my parents and siblings. I am going to start Bright Line because all I have to loose at this point is my life, I’ve had 3 heart attacks and surgeries in the past four years, I am 5’2″ and 225lbs. I am a miserable mess and only have myself to blame. You’ve given me a glimmer of hope that I can help myself. I want to say Thank you so very much for just being here. You are an Angel!

Janeth, I’m SO glad you have decided to take this step and join BLE! What you have to lose is the excess weight, the excess mental and emotional baggage and live happy, thin and free! The thing about BLE is that it isn’t a diet–it is a way of healing the whole person while dealing with the food addiction. I come from background of verbal and emotional/mental abuse, too, and I can’t even begin to tell you all the benefits, growth and healing I have been able to experience just from being in this program! I won’t say it happened overnight, and I surely won’t tell you it has been easy or fun, but to be free from the baggage has been well worth it! I still have weight to lose, but I have the confidence that I will reach my goal and beyond that, will be able to keep it off! Welcome aboard! 🙂

Freedom from self and waiting traps are what ist is about! Absolutely a wonderful inspiring story that captured a portion of what really matters! Being the us we are created to be . Bright Line Eating is a practical tool for laying down the old self and walking in Newness! And Newness could be defined as the original design our creator had intended for our lives. It’s not about the food at all! It’s about total healing and restoration and laying those things down that keep you trapped and ineffective . Thank you for sharing ! Walk boldly and courageously even through the ugly stuff we are letting go of one day at a time . Blessings! God is alive and He uses Bright line eating to help people heal!

Susan, every time you start the vlog by rolling your eyes to “welcome to the weekly vlog”, I am worried that what you’re about to share won’t be relevant to me. But it always is. I would love it if you just owned the power of these blogs and started them by not rolling your eyes or doing the side to side head tilt. Your vlogs are amazing and purposeful! And THIS ONE takes the prize. WOW. I was moved to tears. Thank you so much for sharing these stories. Thank you for your dedication to helping others. Thank you for all the work you do to inspire and teach that this program is so much more than just fitting into a size 2 pant. You and I may never meet but please know that you have changed my life.

Elina, It’s great that you identify with the substance of her vlogs. But know that Susan owns the power of the vlogs. Her rolling eyes and tilted head are about being playful, like her wink at the end. Playful is good.

      1. Elina B.

Playful is great! And I love everything about Susan! As far as my comment goes, I’m sure that even you would agree that pretty much in any scenario, an eye roll is not associated with play. It’s usually a passive-aggressive response to an undesirable situation or person. It’s a reaction to show that you are annoyed, irritated, or that you just don’t believe what you heard/saw. So that was my only point. The eye roll doesn’t go hand in hand with the amount of wisdom Susan shares. Hope my explanation didn’t just make you roll your eyes. 😉

Hey, I’m sorry but….I’ve done the quiz, I’m very interested, but the videos are really dragged out and I’d like to just find a place to get to the skinny of the program. I don’t have a lot of “free time,” and…hopefully no offense, but, I don’t need a lot more stories, I just want to get started.

    Reply ·
    1. Elina B.

The skinny of this program is that if you follow it and stay within the bright lines, you’ll get, well: SKINNY. As far as free time, I’m a working mom, with small school aged children and a baby. I know what not a lot of free time feels like. But I don’t regret for one minute that I made the time to read Dr. Peirce Thomspon’s book. I didn’t have the money to do her boot camp but the book, which you can buy on Amazon (and currently Amazon has an additional coupon you can apply) will be eye opening and help you get started on the program. Here’s the link to buy the book: http://a.co/d/5OE6A88. To get started: cut out all sugar (sweeteners and honey included) and all flour. To stay motivated and understand how this program will work for you, you’ll want to read the book, watch the vlogs, get connected to a support system. Success will come from the change in your mindset, which she teaches us with her vlogs and emails and whatnot. You’re worth the (time) investment.
